A Z body globe valve is a valve used to control the flow of fluid in pipes. It is made of high-quality metal material and is ideal for flow regulation, which is achieved by the correct tightness between the valve plate and the valve seat. A staple in thermal power plants, mineral production facilities, and photochemical plants, these shut-off valves can withstand large amounts of pressure without spilling or bursting. Globe valve straight is a type of globe valve design that is widely used due to its unique characteristics. They also have a small allowable pressure drop.
Z body globe valve belongs to straight pattern globe valve, so it is also called straight globe valve or s pattern globe valve. Bolted bonnet/pressure seal for carbon, stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, alloys and other specialty materials.
For Z body globe valve, the horizontal setting of the seat allows the stem and disc to move perpendicular to the direction of fluid flow. Due to its tortuous flow channel, this design provides the highest flow resistance of all available modes.
Advantages
It can smoothly handle a variety of fluids in pipelines, such as ordinary liquids, liquids with solid particles (gas, powder, slurries) and high-viscosity fluids. The machine has moderate to good throttling and shut-off capabilities. Also, it has a shorter stroke compared to a gate valve.
