Description
Y-type globe valves are used as an alternative to the high pressure drop inherent in standard globe valves. The Y-shaped design minimizes the flow resistance of the globe valve. The Y-type globe valve is designed so that the seat and stem are angled at 45 degrees to the line axis, providing a straighter flow path when fully open with minimal flow resistance.
