Soft-sealed gate valve, also known as soft seated gate valve, the opening and closing part of the soft-sealed gate valve is the gate, the movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid, the gate valve can only be fully opened and fully closed, and cannot be adjusted or throttled. The gate has two sealing surfaces. The two sealing surfaces of the most commonly used mode gate valve form a wedge shape. The wedge shape angle varies with the valve parameters.
Application of soft sealing gate valve:
The main purpose of soft sealing gate valve is water supply system, warm water and cold water system, and the temperature is generally required to be less than 80°;

Soft sealing gate valve material
1, the valve body material
Cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, 316L should be the main ones, and the grade and actual physical and chemical test data of cast iron should be indicated.
2, the material of the valve stem
Strive for stainless steel stem (2CR13), and large-diameter valves should also be stainless steel embedded stems.
3, Nut material
It adopts cast aluminum brass or cast aluminum bronze, and its hardness and strength are greater than that of the valve stem.
4, Stem bushing material
Its hardness and strength should not be greater than that of the valve stem, and it should not form electrochemical corrosion with the valve stem and valve body under the condition of water immersion.
5, the material of the sealing surface

② For ordinary wedge gate valves, the material, fixing method and grinding method of the copper ring should be explained;

6, valve shaft packing
