16 inch gate valve is also called dn400 gate valve. It can also be called gas gate valve or boiler gate valve directly according to the application; black gate valve, blue gate valve according to color; low pressure gate valve or high pressure gate valve according to pressure.
The 16 inch gate valve is used to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline. Different materials are used, which can be respectively applied to various media such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, oxidizing medium, urea, etc., and are widely used in oil pipelines. Compared with the cast steel gate valve of the same caliber, the forged steel gate valve of the same caliber,the flow rate is slightly smaller, but the pressure and temperature range it bears is higher than that of the cast steel valve, and the sealing performance is much better than that of the cast steel gate valve. Longer life, the flow direction of the medium is not restricted like other gate valves.

Features

Installation
1. The valve can be installed in any position, but attention should be paid to easy maintenance and operation.
2. Before installation, it must be carefully checked whether the valve logo and nameplate conform to the requirements of the working conditions.
3. When installing this valve, the inner cavity and sealing surface should be cleaned, and the sealing surface, bolt connection, packing compression, and whether the valve stem rotates freely should be checked.
4. The handwheel and transmission mechanism are not allowed to be used for lifting.
5. During installation, the connecting bolts should be tightened evenly and symmetrically.
