Product Introduction

The wafer lug type check valve is an automatic valve whose main function is to prevent the backflow of the medium, the reverse rotation of the pump and the driving motor, and the discharge of the medium in the container. The check valve can also be used to assist the pressure in which the pressure may rise to exceed the system pressure. on the supply pipeline of the system.

Design Features

Retainer-less design: the valve features a single cast body without pin retainer holes in the body. This design avoids the potential leaking risk through the body valve, making it a preferable option for check valve selection.

Short face-to-face dimension: XURI’ s dual plate lug type check valves have a short face-to-face dimension and are lighter in weight than conventional check valves.

spring:the spring creates a positive seal, and rapid closure is made possible by lightweight plates. Fast action of the spring closes the valve before return flow arrives, thereby reducing potential damage from water hammer. What’s more the spring also features outstanding resistance to corrosion and fatigue.

Depending on the conditions of use, the disc can be an all-metal structure, or it can be in the form of a rubber pad or rubber ring inlaid on the disc holder. Like the globe valve, the passage of fluid through the lift check valve is also narrow, so the flow through the lift check valve is narrow. The pressure drop of the swing check valve is larger than that of the swing check valve, and the flow of the swing check valve is less restricted.

Available in sizes from 2″ – 48″ and class ratings 150 through 2500. Our wafer check valves can be made in Raised Face (RF) and Ring Type Joint (RTJ) to specification ANSI B16.5. Other end connections are available on request.

Wafer Check Valves are manufactured according to API 594. Our range is tested vigorously to API 598 and design standard ANSI B16.34. All of our products are supplied with EN10204 3.1 Test Certification. Further testing is available on customer request such as; radiography testing and Non-destructive Testing (NDT).

We are able to manufacture a number of wafer check valve designs including; double flanged, lugged and wafer designs.
