Description
6 inch check valve also called as 6 inch non return valve or dn150 check valve, prevent backflow in piping systems, these mechanisms ensure that the valve closes when the flow of fluid through the pipe is reversed. To ensure unobstructed flow, the check valve can automatically close when the pressure is reduced.
Features:
1. Protects media from backflow contamination by gravity, back-siphoning or back pressure.n2. Protects sensitive equipment from damage or contamination due to reversal of water flow.n3. After shutting off water flow, keep water in the system or pipes to prevent drainage or facilitate restarts.n4. Prevents cross flow in systems with unequal line pressures.n5. Reduce the risk of valve fault backflow or leakage.n6. Keep complex systems functioning properly by ensuring one-way flow.n7. The corresponding size of the check valve should be determined, and the valve supplier must provide the data of the selected size, so that the valve size when the valve is fully opened at a given flow rate can be found;n8. For high and medium pressure check valves below DN50mm, vertical lift check valves and straight-through lift check valves should be selected;n9. For low pressure check valves below DN50mm, butterfly check valves, vertical lift check valves and diaphragm check valves should be selected;n10. For high and medium pressure check valves with DN greater than 50mm and less than 600mm, swing check valves should be used;n11. For medium and low pressure check valves with DN greater than 200mm and less than 1200mm, non-wear spherical check valves should be selected;n12. For low-pressure check valves with DN greater than 50mm and less than 2000mm, butterfly check valves and diaphragm check valves should be selected;n13. For pipelines that require less or no water hammer when closed, slow-closing swing check valves and slow-closing butterfly check valves should be used.
