Product Introduction
Triple offset butterfly valve is an advanced quarter-turn valve that combines the compact, lightweight design of a butterfly valve with the zero-leakage performance of a gate valve. The triple offset geometry creates a cam action during opening and closing, completely eliminating friction between the seat and disc contact surfaces.
The three offsets are: (1) shaft offset behind the seat plane, (2) shaft offset from the pipe centerline, and (3) the seat cone axis offset from the pipe centerline. This unique geometry ensures that the disc contacts the seat only at the final closing position, providing bubble-tight shut-off with virtually no seat wear over the valve lifecycle.
XURI triple offset butterfly valves are designed per API 609 and ASME B16.34, suitable for high-temperature steam, oil & gas, power generation, and offshore applications. The metal-to-metal sealing is inherently fire-safe and can handle continuous service temperatures up to 600°C.
Available in sizes from 3 to 120 inches with pressure classes from 150 to 2500LB, our triple offset butterfly valves offer an excellent alternative to traditional gate valves, globe valves, and large ball valves with significant weight, space, and cost savings.
