Product Introduction
XURI Triple Offset Butterfly Valves are designed with advanced triple eccentric (triple offset) and double eccentric geometry, providing superior performance for high-pressure and high-temperature applications. The unique offset design creates a cam action during opening and closing, completely eliminating friction between the seat and disc contact surfaces — ensuring long service life even under frequent operation.
The three offsets are: (1) shaft offset behind the seat plane, (2) shaft offset from the pipe centerline, and (3) the seat cone axis offset from the pipe centerline. This unique geometry ensures that the disc contacts the seat only at the final closing position, providing bubble-tight shut-off with virtually no seat wear over the valve lifecycle.
Designed per API 609, these valves offer bi-directional installation, lightweight construction, and low torque operation. They are ideal not only for fluid blocking but also for flow process control, effectively replacing traditional gate valves, globe valves, and ball valves in many demanding applications.
