Check valves shall be double disc, wafer type, with torsion spring sensing to close. Double Disc Check Valves are constructed with stainless steel trim for years of trouble-free operation. Double flap check valves can be installed in horizontal or vertical pipelines that carry clean water or air. The valve is not suitable for conveying solids-containing fluids such as untreated sewage or waste water. This valve is not suitable for fluids containing harmful gases. Double Disc Check Valves are designed to provide flow in the direction of the arrow marked on the external nameplate and close immediately upon sensing a flow reversal. The nameplate will also indicate the valve size, model, working pressure and material of construction.
Wafer type double flap check valve is used in pure pipelines and industrial, environmental protection, water treatment, high-rise building water supply and drainage pipelines to prevent medium backflow. The check valve adopts the wafer type, the disc is two semicircles, and the spring is forced to reset.
Wafer type double disc check valve is composed of valve body, valve disc, valve stem and spring, etc., and adopts wafer connection. Due to the short closing stroke of the disc and it is spring loaded, water hammer is significantly reduced.
