The difference between stainless steel straight-through ball valve and stainless steel three-way ball valve

The straight-through ball valve is a simple structure. It uses a sphere as a rotating body, and a channel is opened inside the sphere to realize medium circulation. When the sphere rotates to be parallel to the caliber of the valve body, the medium can flow smoothly, but when the sphere is rotated to be perpendicular to the caliber of the valve body, the medium cannot pass through, thus realizing the cut-off of the valve.
The three-way ball valve adopts a T-shaped or L-shaped structure, which is suitable for occasions where the flow direction of the medium needs to be changed. The medium flows into the side port of the T-shaped ball valve from one side, and then flows out from the channel of the ball through the other side port. The structure of the L-type ball valve is similar, but the flow direction of the medium is switched within a 90-degree angle. Users can adjust the flow direction of the medium by changing the position of the handle.
To sum up, stainless steel ball valves are mainly divided into two types: straight-through ball valves and three-way ball valves. The straight-through ball valve has simple structure and good stability, and is suitable for occasions that need to cut off the flow of medium. The three-way ball valve adopts T-shaped or L-shaped structure, which can change the flow direction of the medium, and is suitable for occasions that need to transfer medium in different directions or combine pipelines. When in use, it is necessary to select the appropriate ball valve type in combination with specific requirements, and pay attention to the installation and maintenance of the valve to ensure its normal operation and prolong its service life.
