Channel form of stainless steel globe valve
1. According to the channel direction of the globe valve, it is divided into:
1) Straight-through globe valve
2) DC cut-off valve: In the DC or Y-shaped cut-off valve, the channel of the valve body is diagonal to the main flow channel, so the degree of damage to the flow state is less than that of the traditional stop valve, so the pressure loss through the valve is correspondingly smaller.
3) Angle cut-off valve: In the angle cut-off valve, the fluid only needs to change its direction once, so that the pressure drop through the valve is smaller than that of a conventional cut-off valve.
4) Plunger globe valve: This form of globe valve is a variant of the traditional globe valve. In valves, valves and seats are usually designed according to the plunger principle. The valve is polished to a plunger and connected to the stem. The seal is covered by two elastomeric seals on the plunger. Valves are mainly used to “open” or “close” but special forms of plungers or special collars can also be used to regulate flow.
