Several considerations for selecting and inspecting high-quality valve blanks

The following factors should be considered when selecting valve blanks:
(1) The material of the parts and the requirements for the organization and performance of the material. The part material specified on the design drawing generally determines the type of blank. For example, if the material of the part is cast iron, the blank must be made by casting. For steel parts, the mechanical performance requirements of the material should be considered when selecting the blank. For example, parts for manufacturing high-pressure valves should generally use forgings or weldments to ensure that the material has good mechanical properties. Humidity sensor probe, stainless steel electric heating tube PT100 sensor, cast aluminum heater, heating coil, fluid solenoid valve.
(2) The structural shape and external dimensions of the parts. The structural switch of parts is an important factor affecting the selection of blanks. For example, castings can be used for valve bodies with complex structural switches. Sand casting can be used for large size valve bodies; investment casting is used for small size valve bodies.
(3) The size of the production program. The larger the production program of the parts, the better the economic effect of adopting high-precision and high-efficiency blank manufacturing methods.
(4) Conditions for blank manufacturing. The blank should be selected according to the equipment and technology level on site, and the advanced blank manufacturing method should be gradually adopted in consideration of the development prospect.
