Advantages of stainless steel gate valve

1. Small fluid resistance. The medium passage inside the stainless steel gate valve body is straight through, and the medium does not change its flow direction when it flows through the stainless steel gate valve, so the fluid resistance is small.
2. The structural length (the distance between the two ends connected to the pipe) is small. Since the disc is in the shape of a disc, it is placed vertically in the valve body, while the disc of the stop valve (also in the shape of a disc) is placed in parallel in the body, so compared with the stop valve, its structural length is smaller. Such as PN16, DNI50 globe valve, its structural length is 480 mm, while the structural length of stainless steel gate valve with the same parameter is only 350 mm.
3. It is less labor-saving to open and close. When opening and closing, the movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the flow direction of the medium, while the movement direction of the globe valve disc is usually opposite to the flow direction of the medium at the net seat when it is closed, so it must overcome the force of the medium, so compared with the globe valve, The opening and closing of the stainless steel gate valve is relatively labor-saving.
4. The direction of mass flow is not restricted. The medium can flow through the stainless steel gate valve in any direction from both sides of the stainless steel gate valve, and both can achieve the purpose of connecting or cutting off. It is easy to install and is suitable for pipelines where the flow direction of the medium may change.
5. When open, the sealing surface is less eroded by the working medium.
6. The shape and structure are relatively simple, and the manufacturing process is better.
