Installation position and direction of one-way valve

The check valve is a swing check valve with unlimited installation position. It is usually installed in horizontal pipelines, but it can also be installed in vertical pipelines or inclined pipelines.

There are two kinds of check valves: straight type and right angle type. The straight check valve is installed on the pipeline with threaded connection. Right angle check valve has three forms: threaded connection, plate connection and flange connection. The hydraulic control check valve, also known as the lock valve or pressure retaining valve, is the same as the check valve to prevent the reverse flow of oil. However, when the oil flow in the hydraulic circuit needs to flow in the opposite direction, the control oil pressure can be used to open the one-way valve so that the oil flow can flow in both directions. The hydraulic control one-way valve uses a conical valve core, so the sealing performance is good. When the oil circuit is required to be closed, the valve can be used as the one-way locking of the oil circuit to maintain the pressure. There are two kinds of leakage modes of control oil of hydraulic control check valve: internal leakage and external leakage. The inner drain type can be used in the oil circuit without back pressure at the oil flow reverse outlet; Otherwise, leakage type is required to reduce the control oil pressure.

Installation of check valve

1. The check valve shall not bear weight in the pipeline. Large check valves shall be independently supported so that they are not affected by the pressure generated by the relationship.

2. During installation, the flow direction of the medium shall be consistent with the arrow direction of the valve body.

3. The lift type vertical flap check valve shall be installed on the vertical pipeline.

4. The lift type horizontal flap check valve shall be installed on the horizontal pipeline.

Matters needing attention:

When installing the check valve, pls pay special attention to the flow direction of the medium. Make sure that the normal flow direction of the medium is consistent with the arrow direction indicated on the valve body, otherwise the normal flow of the medium will be cut off. The bottom valve shall be installed at the bottom of the water pump suction pipe.

When the check valve is closed, water hammer pressure will be generated in the pipeline, which will cause damage to the valve, pipeline or equipment in serious cases. Especially for large mouth pipeline or high-pressure pipeline, the check valve selector should pay high attention.
