Description
nrv valve is short for check valve, so swing type nrv valve is short for swing type check valve. There are many types of check valves, but their main functions are similar at their core. Check valves basically only allow flow to move in one direction. Therefore, they are also called one-way valves. NRVs are also considered a two-way valve because they have two openings: one for the outlet and the other for the incoming fluid.
